The Smart Greenhouse Control team is passionate about sustainability, environmental awareness and is committed to the importance of paying attention to climate change as there are no more chances to make a difference. We have created our products with this in mind, helping to reduce the ecological footprint of both Hungarian foil tunnel farmers and ours as well.
Our Story
Több, mint 6 éves fejlesztés és tesztelés után Gábor és Dani elérte a fóliavezérlővel kitűzött első célokat. Az eszköz beszerelésre kész, a fóliás és üvegházas gazdák már használhatják.
A történet 2014-ben kezdődött egy közös kecskeméti munkahelyen.
Dani már 2013 óta foglalkozik hajtatott növénytermesztéssel egy 1500 m2-es fóliasátorban Szentesen, ahol főképp hegyes erős paprikát termeszt. Dani gazdasága adta az alapot ahhoz, hogy elkezdődjön a fóliavezérlés projekt. Ugyanis napi szinten tapasztalta, hogy rengeteg kihívással jár ez a szakma. Mivel a gazdasága mellett, egy Kecskeméthez közeli gyárban is dolgozott, így kevés ideje maradt az alapvető feladatokra, mint például a szellőztetés megoldása. Dani megosztotta problémáját kollégájával, Gáborral, aki javasolta, hogy építsenek egy okos eszközt, amely egy elérhető, de biztonságos automatizációt eredményezne a fóliába való beszerelés után. Gábor korábban már számos hasonló eszközt fejlesztett, így korábbi tapasztalataira építve alkották meg a termesztési technológiát.

Having experienced the lack of digitalisation in the field of plant propagation, it became clear that a carefully planned system would make farmers’ lives much easier. Lots of wasted time, fuel costs, stress from storms, fluctuating yields.
We were looking for solutions to these problems.
The story of Smart Greenhouse Control started in 2012 with an idea to create an automated ventilation system that could control the plant in a way that was best for the plant, but was affordable for everyone.
From an initial 2-person hobby project, today 7 dedicated young people make up the Smart Greenhouse Control team and work every day to make agriculture a more sustainable and efficient place to work in.
Our products and services are used in a variety of industries, including foil tunnels, greenhouses and livestock farms.
